Leon Baillie
Leon started training with Korean Hapkido aged 10 also trained at St Pancras Boxing Club under Pat Numan.
He studied boxing and various martial arts for over a decade both in the UK and in Europe and is a qualified
boxing coach and boxercise instructor. He formerly coached a successful youth squad at St Pancras Boxing Club.
Leon has studied yoga extensively and is a qualified sports massage therapist, and has previously helped with pre-competition preparations for heavyweight Danny Williams amongst others. This knowledge gives Leon a deeper understanding of the body and injury prevention scenarios.
He studied kettlebells and continues to train under the 'mighty' Steve Angell, becoming the first instructor under his guidance. From his own full time studio / gym in North London (Highgate Fitness Studios) Leon now trains a wide selection of people including black belts in various martial arts, personal trainers, jiu jitsu practitioners, media personalities, professionals from all walks of life, and models!
He has run seminars in conditioning/boxing circuits at Karma Martial Arts and the Bob Breen Academy to name a few.

Leon focuses on an individual's needs, be it weight loss, enhancing boxing skills or as an interesting, fun alternative to the gym. He takes a modern approach to traditional boxing and kettle bell drills and techniques, and fuses them with functional fitness and stretching based on the principles of yoga.
This makes for a balanced and unique approach to training, whether in group circuits or one to one training, for all sports and martial artists alike. Leon's overall goal is an ever-challenging and changing workout; learning whilst having fun and achieving personal levels of fitness, fighting fit with an unbeatable resilience and flexibility while keeping mind / body equilibrium.
